Abhayā pipalīmūlādi Kashaya

Abhayā pipalīmūlādi Kashaya is a decoction made from the root bark of the Abhayā tree. The Kashaya is used in Ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of fevers, colds, and coughs. It is also used to boost the immune system and to cleanse the blood.
INDICATIONS: Vāta Kapha jwara with ruja & vibandha. Jwara with kaphaja kasa/ śwāsa, mamsa gata jwara, Kapha Vata jwara with malabandha etc. Fever with myalgia/ fibromyalgia, chikungunya etc.
PROPERTIES:
Dosha Karma: especially Vata Kapha samana, vātānulōmana.
Agni Karma: dīpana, pācana,
Mala Karma: malanulomana
Sroto Karma: srōtōsōdhana, vibandha hara.
Roga Karma: jwaraghna, krmighna.
Lakshanika Karma: rujaghna.
Guna: Kashaya tikta katu, rasa pradhana, laghu rūksha, anushņa śīta & prabhava karma oushadha
Ingredients:
1. Abhaya(Terminaliya chebula Retz)
2. pippalī mūla(Piper longum L)
3. śamyāka(Cassia fistula L)
4. katuka(Picrorhiza kurroa Royle ex Benth)
5. ghana(Cyperus rotundus L)
General Dosage & Adjuvants: 10-15 ml mixed with 30-45 ml of water before food.
Its a ushņa vīrya medicine. Best result in fever associated with indigestion in children. It has action mainly on kōshtha and has ruk viśēshatwam.
